Sorry it’s been so long. This month has just been so stressful and I haven’t honestly had much of a chance to get back into the rhythm of things. I think it will take some time before I can completely relax — there is still so much up in the air right now.
This leads me to some big news, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to reveal it just yet. It’s not related to my writing, rather my living arrangements (if that’s not a big clue right there).
Anyway, despite everything that’s going on I still want to get into Camp NaNoWriMo this year. I’ve completed day one and below are my stats thus far:
I’m going to try and stick to my daily goal (1,096 words) — I want to reach 80,000 words in total for Book One of my Wings of Malice series — but I’m also going to try and not put too much pressure on myself to reach the overall word count target (32,860 words); things won’t settle down here for another month.
I’m still reading through my classics though it’s obviously taking a lot longer than I originally anticipated. I’m hoping to get another review done very soon. I wanted to get it done for this blog post, but again things got out of hand and well, I’ve been way too busy, mentally and physically.
Hopefully I’ll be able to give you guys some more information next week.
