New year, new resolve

So, this year I’m going to be more productive. I’m going to make sure of it.

Right after I finish house sitting.
Right after I finish playing The Witcher 3
Right after etc, etc, etc…

It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions. Along with:
* Supporting more indie writers
* Supporting more local businesses
* Doing one act of kindness a day
* Getting back into fencing, and…
* Getting published!

But I’m still adding to the list.

Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?

So, anyway, what have I been up to?
I have redistributed, edited, written and rewritten roughly 10,000 words for Book One of Wings of Malice, and likewise for Book Two. It’s getting there, but this process has been very difficult.
So, only about 70,000 odd more words to get through… sigh.

I’m making my way through my reading list — my new venture of reading through all my unread classics. I finished The Last Unicorn, so that’s one book down… however many more left to go. I should write up some sort of list for you guys. Hmm…
And, I will start writing up reviews for some of them.

And, what’s to come?
I will be setting up a goal tracker with National Novel Writing Month to keep track of my work in progress. Or should that be works in progress… I don’t want to overwhelm myself, but I would like to continue working on Wings of Malice as well as Saga of the Sinner. I honestly don’t think it’s a good idea — I know I should be focused on the one project at a time — but work has been going well so far with Wings of Malice. Yet, I don’t want to leave Sade too long either. Dilemma!

My lovely graphic designer, Phoenix Johnson (Phoenix Johnson Graphic Design) will be starting work soon, creating awesome cover designs for Wings of Malice. We have heaps of amazing ideas and I can’t wait to get started on them.

I’ll have to leave it there for now, unfortunately. It’s still pretty hectic at the moment with the holidays and everything. Once things settle down, and I’m back home… that would be wonderful. Until then, just a quick update.
